The Listing Contract

When you contract with a REALTOR to sell your home they become your LISTING AGENT and by association, your LISTING AGENCY.  Typically an Exclusive-Right-To-Sell contract is negotiated.  This is where we are the only agency who will be contracted to represent you.

Other contracts are also used though most agencies and sellers prefer an exclusive arrangement for full service support. We make a significant INVESTMENT in selling your home (time, signage, brochures, advertising, MLS) and we hope you make the same commitment.  This contract also provides for a CO-BROKE FEE paid to another agent/agency as a result of our MARKETING efforts. They may bring a buyer to the table resulting in the sale of your property – a standard business practice in the industry.
